⦁ ACH Fast eine Funkoper
Munich Biennial, 2020
Space / Visual Dramaturgy
ACH – Fast ein Funkoper was conceived as a participatory project for professional and amateur musicians with audience allowed to move around freely in the space. Regulations due to the Corona pandemic changed the performance profoundly and of course also the spatial concept. Swivelling audience chairs were a way of keeping a multitude of perspectives to experience the piece. The audience was thus surrounded by the performance and turned around to change their viewpoint.
Another key element of the scenography was a very long foley walk with different materials that made sound when being walked on. As a scenographic element, it dealt with the extension of the spacious performance venue, the Reithalle in Munich, and was also played as an instrument in the piece.
