⦁ Blessed
Volksbühne Berlin, 2007
Vooruit, Gent 2007
Installation
In Blessed a realtime material process is happening on stage with all uncontrollable factors that result from it: A world of cardboard is dissolved live through the contact with water.
The cardboard objects were developed as prototypes in an elaborate process. During the performance they are exposed to continuous rain on stage and made anew for each show. The objects collapse in a different speed every times which affects the rhythm of the performance.
The piece has been touring successfully worldwide since 2008.
