Politics of Ecstasy was the 6th Edition of the CONTEXT-Festival and offered a space for artists and participants to get closer to ecstasy. A festival curated by artists and dramaturges, Politics of Ecstasy assembled positions from dance, performance art, music and theory, including an improvisation project with dancers and musicians. The artists and set designers Doris Dziersk, Anke Philipp and Sophie-Therese Trenka-Dalton were transforming the theater into an ecstatic festival center, where performances and improvisations, concerts and lectures, parties and dinners were taking place.
